The Casa del Giglio is part of a 16th century building belonging to the Piccolomini, one of the most famous and important noble families in Siena, to which belonged Pope Pius II, founder of the city of Pienza.
Its four rooms with high and frescoed ceilings as well as the large windows overlooking the church of Santa Maria di Provenzano, to whom the Palio of July 2nd is dedicated, create an elegant and refined atmosphere.
